Board and projection inputs
The selected rankings board provides market order. Where available, projection data is rescored using league settings, including position-specific reception bonuses, and is used for tier construction and value comparisons.
Roster-aware evaluation
Dedicated starter slots, flex seats, superflex demand, bench depth and league sizes up to 18 teams affect how each player is evaluated.
Monte Carlo availability
Picktator runs repeated draft scenarios to estimate which players and tiers may survive. Opponent selections are influenced by roster needs, board position, opponents previous drafts and controlled randomness.
VONA and tiers together
Tier recommendations use the complete VONA recommendation score as their strategic base, then add tier-survival and tier-drop context without double-counting raw positional value.
Routing
Routing compares distinct first-position choices by simulating the remaining draft. It summarizes likely future picks, expected starter gains, roster shape, projected outcomes and uncertainty while using ADP as a market guardrail.
Limits
Draft behavior is uncertain, projections can be wrong, data feeds can change, and a small simulated sample cannot represent every league. Use the reasoning as an aid alongside your own player views.
